A little ray of sunshine

The day was gorgeous and filled with sunshine...

My sweet sister Julie and Stephanie dropped by for lunch and a swim. Here's Julie in front of her favourite thing... crackers! Oh, and some great news... my sister is expecting her second child, yeah!!!!! So that could be why she is glowing so much (and eating lots of crackers!)

Brent and Stephanie were high-fiving about the great news!

After a light and healthy lunch of fresh baguette, ham and cut veggies and melons we were off for a swim. These are the many faces of Stephanie- her expressions just crack me up. We are all trying to have her 'smile at the camera' but all she wants to do is ... her own thing!!!!

 ... and here's the funniest- she's looking and with her cheesy smile and fingers pointing like a gun, just as if she's a 70's disco king saying 'Hi there'!

 and then again... no 'I am not looking at you'.

 ...ok, now she is getting violent, she looks like she's gonna punch her mother out!

 ... and with her cousin Melanie, she just wants to 'stir' the pool with the floating pool thermometre.

... but hey, check it out.. who finally got the perfect photo! Me and my little Stephanie.... could it be that it was her mother she was looking at and that made her smile? Could it be we are so excited to welcome a little one at the end of December... one will never know!
