Ok, new favourite product plug. Have you met these? eos, the evolution of smooth.

They are totally awesome spheres of smooth. 100% natural and 95% organic- sorry about you last 5%!

They come in a rainbow of colours/flavours. Here is my collection. I have a few, you see I am addicted to lipbalm and need one everywhere... in my purse, nightstand, gym bag... and a spare of course.

Feeding my Face

Ok, no, it's not what you think. It's not about food, it's about nutrition for my face. You see, my sweet parents gave me a 'Facial' gift certificate for Christmas and I have been dying to use it. Since I have started taking care of my body on the inside, I also started taking care of my body on the outside. I have started wearing makeup and trying to show the world that 'hey, look at me, I am taking care of myself and my pretty, made-up face proves it'. Kind of funny but true. Well, I started noticing that my skin was very dry and I was so excited to get this pampering treatment.

This is the before shot.... very nice salon, one my mom frequents a lot.

Picture me lying here for an hour being cleansed, peeled, masked, picked, rubbed, creamed... you know, a facial! It was wonderfully relaxing, and I found out I have combination skin, with very sensitive cheeks, oh my! 

That's me after my treatment, bare, happy, exfoliated and shinny.

So after my treatment, I was going to Whole Foods and thought I would start taking care of my skin in a 'Whole, Clean' way, no more Pond's cream. Let me then introduce you to the Green Beaver! I had to ask the help of a beauty expert at the store and this is what she recommended for my 'sensitive' skin. Don't you just love the name? It's, of course, Canadian made of 100% natural materials here in Ontario. So I bought the purifying grapefruit cleanser an the aloe and green tea moisturizer. So I like the cleanser's smell, but the green tea mositurizer needs some getting used to, and it's 'thin', I'm used to a thicker feeling cream on my face, but my face is looking nice and shinny, in a good way!

I also saw this lip stuff, don't you love the name 'Kiss my Face'. So I picked up this Amethyst colour and I was excited to read that it had pepperment oil (the stuff that makes your lips tingle) and shea butter and coconut oil, all things that are good for your lips.

Came home and opened up my packages and smelled and tested them.

Oh joy!!! I put my new Kiss my Face lip stuff on and it was 'tingly' and not too dark, but just a hint of Amethyst.

Lady in Red

It's been getting cold around here, so the other day I decided to put on my favourite red sweater. It has great detail and is real warm. Well, with that comes the need to accesorize....
I went crazy over red....

I found this great red lipstick from my stash of old lipsticks. It's O.P.I, and you know how they come up with clever names...

Et voila! I was a Lady in Red.... there's just something about wearing bright colours that just makes you feel happy. So I sure was a happy girl that day.

Magenta Purple Passion

Yes, that is what I call this outfit. It's my semi-hippie top with a great magenta long sleeve T.

Here are my lips, hot/cool pinky magenta. It's an oldie but a goodie. Chiffon by Rimmel. It goes on really smooth.

This bold and bright coco mado necklace completes the outfit. Do you know I designed this necklace without even this shirt in mind... yet it's a perfect match! Makes my 'matchy-matchy' side so happy!

Scarfilicious Fashion Moment

There are some days when you just feel well put together. I had one of those days a few days ago. It's all centered around my new fall purchase. This scarf I got at Winners. It's Scarfilicious! I paired it with a nice long beige/brown long sweater vest and presto!

It's got those great neutral Fall colours, brown, beige, black and gray and it's got these 'popcorn' pieces all over. As well, it's one of those scarves that's got some elastic to it, so it bunches up.

I paired it up with some bling, a couple of coco mado bracelet designs, made by me, for such an occasion. Fresh water pearls, glass pearls and crystals in deep browns and grays with a hit of gold!

I finished the whole outfit with a hit of barely there lip gloss. It's shimmery with a hint of champagne colour. Real cheap too from Walmart.

Lip Shimmer by Burt`s Bees

Here's something you may not know about me. I have an addiction. I am a lip balm/lipstick addict. I cannot live without some 'lip stuff' on my lips. In fact when we were recently away for a day trip, I forgot to pack my lip balm, and we had to go on a hunt to all the local store until I could buy any kind of lip stuff. Crazy, I know. I remember a friend of mine told me about 20 years ago, 'Chantal, you shouldn't put lip balm on all the time, you'll become addicted'. I laughed at her of course, thinking she was making that up. Well she was right. I am an addict all right!

My absolute favourite at the moment is Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer. I own about 5 colours, but my favourite is cocoa. It's just the most delicious colour, brown, shimmery, like the sun and some chocolate just kissed your lips. You put it on and your lips tingle, it's because it contains mentha piperita (peppermint) oil. What a feeling! And it`s all natural and comes from a company with a conscience.
