Things you do in Cookstown on the way to an afternoon of baby love!

Melanie and I took a nice vacation day to go and visit my friend Kemeshia who just had the cutest little baby boy... but on the way, we had to stop and visit the Factory Outlet mall on the way.

I have always wanted to visit the outlets and we were on a mission, I wanted a summery 'on sale' Coach purse and Melanie needed some sneakers. Well, we found Melanie some sneakers and we found me the most appropriate, colourful summer purse ever! and more...

Here's the cute purse... If you know me, you knowit screams ME!!!!

Do you know how many of my shirts these colours with???? All of them! I just love it and it was like 70 % off, so it was a congrats on making this awesome life change present to me!

But guess what else I found- the most amazing shoes. I was looking and seeing what was available in the shoes and nothing was exciting me... well, I didn't really need more 'walking shoes'. But check out what I found...

... staring right at me in the 'sale' section, regular $180 for $60, in my size 8 and purple too! It was meant to be. I was actually wondering how I would continue walking in winter and that I needed some new footwear. The clerk explained that these were made of Goretex and are completely waterproof.

... so waterproof indeed, that they have these totally athletic looking shoe lace bungie thingie!!! and they are cool Adidas, that's right, All - Day - I - Dream - About - Sports  ! That's me now, I can't wait to wear these, bring on the cold/snowy/rainy weather because I am gonna kick it's ass!

Oh, did you want to have a look at the cutest little baby boy ever ... and his mommy too?

AHHHH?????

OMG, LOVE HIM!!! I have to set him and Stephanie up one day so that they can get married and we can all become family!

Amazing Springtime Adventure- Downtown Oakville

A few weeks ago we decided to take a walk in one of our most favourite places. Downtown Oakville. We had so much fun walking around and enjoying the gorgeous Springtime weather.

My favourite part of Spring has got to be the flowers- especially all the tulips. We saw so many beautiful flower designs.
The colours were awesome and it was so great to see so many store fronts adorned with these colourful blooms.
Of course, we had to go to our favourite cafe. The Green Bean. Last time I shared with you their great new design- the red and brown stripes. Well this time, I discovered they had new chairs.

Amazing colours and design, don't you think?

Had an awesome skinny latte with a funky design in it...kinda looks like a bird flying, don't you think?

Oooh, so good!!!

We stopped by our favourite bakery- Cobs Bread - we picked up some Whole Grain and Rye breads.

Have you seen my lug purse. It's my favourite purchase from last summer. I saw these featured on Oprah a few years ago and I got this great style that I can wear across my body. I had to get it in my favourite colour- Purple- and it's my purse when I go on power shopping/walking adventures because it's smaller and lighter and oh so cool. Check them out.  http://www.luglife.com/Brands/Lug

One last Christmas Post...

Ok, I am trying to catch up with all that happened during the Christmas Holidays. So I wanted to share with you one last Christmas post to show you all the fun times and festivities we were blessed to be part of.

As mentioned in a previous posts, my parents still spoil us rotten and this year was no different. My Mother once heard my dream of owning a Coach purse. Well, while they were down in America they found a great store which had great sales... so this Christmas my little sister and I were happy recipients of a "Real" Coach purse.... Wow, I sure was overwhelmed, if you asked my family, I believe they'll tell you I might have screamed with excitement and surprise...see below.

Yup, I was 'HAPPY'.

But then again... so was my little sister. Check out her big smile!

Here's our shinny happy faces and Coach purses, what a pair!

My mom is a wonderful knitter and this year she surprised us girls with scarves in wonderfully different materials. Check out mine, it's not your ordinary yarn that's for sure. I just love how unique it is!

Look at my little sister with her scraf, you can't really tell from the photo, but that is no ordinary yarn either.

My mom also made a beautiful matching hat and scarf set for my little girl, how sweet! Thanks Mom for your love and creativity.... hey, maybe that's where I get it from?

I was so excited when my sister gave me this most awesome present. A live concert DVD from Adele. I just LOVE her and the way she sings with raw emotion. Thanks Julie!... I can't wait to curl up on the coach and soak it all in!

Fall Purse Love

This is my absolute favourite purse for the fall. I LOVE purses. I love going to Winners to find some different, not too expensive designs.  Check it out...

It fits everything! I find that after summer, when I think you need a lighter, smaller purse, it's nice to get back to a big purse that you can throw everything in. It's got those great fall colours, with a hint of teal which makes it stand out, that, and the leapard skin accents on the belt and the bottom sides.
The designer is Nicole Lee, her designs are bold and exciting. Check out the link for all kinds of ideas.
