We were so excited to share with my sister's family, Stephanie's first ever Olympic games. 2012 London here we come!
Melanie and Stephanie got their hands and arms ready for the Opening Ceremony with some deep hugs...
... ans some power lifts.
Here's our proud Canadians... if you ask me, they were some of the few who looked like they were having fun out there. Proud to be Canadian!
Then this guy started talking... in English and French... thank God Stephanie understands both!
But after a while she got bored and was like... 'gimme some balls and toys to wrap my hands around', this is too much!
Then it got all dark and Julie and her babe sat on the floor and got right into it. The end is near!
... then somehow, Stephanie showed up at the Olympics, like magic! She saw the Olympic flames...
... and even got right in there to get a better view!
... and then she was like... OMG look at these awesome fireworks... I am so glad I am here to see it all!
... but wait, Mom, where's the pizza party you promised me???
Oh yeah, here they are! These delicious pizzas were homemade creations from Julie's kitchen. We used whole wheat crusts... this one was BBQ sauce, BBQ grilled chicken, roasted red peppers, broccoli and zucchini... Nice eh!
This one was my favourite ... and Stephanie's too! Tomato sauce, pineapple, orange peppers, ham and little bitty bacon bits. We celebrated with lots of cheer and some nice Chapman's Vanilla Yogurt Sandwiches for a sweet frozen treat!
