After the Holidays and some of the overindulging we might have done, it's nice to get back to some healthy eating. One of my favourite things to do is to add some sweetness to the Spring Mix Salad as it tends to be bitter.
I use a nice Raspberry Vinaigrette ....
And delicious fresh raspberries.
Mella likes croutons alot, and almost all the store bought croutons are real bad for you with bad fats and lots of preservatives. But there is this one brand that I have found at Longo's. They are called Marcy's Gourmet croutons.
They are made with calabrese bread, olive oil, granulated garlic, salt and parsley.
8 croutons are 30 calories, 1g fat, 1g protien. Pretty good!
